WARNING again: This is the same company that owns and distributes MacKeeper. Their marketing tactics in the past AND now are, IMHO, easily the most malicious and abusive on the Internet with regard to the Mac computer community. No other company in my experience is so abusive. A common practice is to 'click-jack' Internet users from an unrelated URL over to their sales page. In my experience such practices are UNHEARD OF in the Mac community, apart from MacKeeper marketing.Since this is more software from Kromtech, the current distributors of MacKeeper, expect this application to attempt to get you to buy MacKeeper. If you can deal with that, terrific. Just don't be fooled and install MacKeeper please. I say this because I have no respect for their marketing tactics and have read multitudes of reports from users who have had trouble on their Macs specifically due to MacKeeper, as well as trouble removing it after installation. Keep in mind that this is my opinion, provided as good will to help Mac users and to expose terrible, abusive marketing tactics.

Memory Optimizer and Booster (formerly known as Memory Free Pro) aims to provide you with a simple to use set of tools for keeping an eye on your Mac’s RAM and freeing some of it for running memory intensive apps without any hitch.

Low-key and always at hand RAM optimizer

The Memory Optimizer and Booster is designed as a status bar based menu which gives you detailed information about the status of your RAM memory.

From its status bar interface, you can view the exact amount of free, inactive, active, wired, used and total memory available.

Moreover, from its Preferences window, you can set Memory Optimizer and Booster to display the amount of free memory in your menu bar, the percentage, or a colored / black and white icon.

When you need to free memory you can either use the suggestively named “Free memory” item within Memory Free Pro’s status bar menu, or the “Optimize Memory” one available in the Preferences window. Although they are named differently, both these buttons do the exact same thing.
